Which Finesse–Solution

Here was the original problem:

West cashes the K♣️ and then switches to the 3♠️.
Dummy (North) wins the K♠️ and leads the J♥️.
East discards 4♦️ on this first ♥️ trick.
South wins the A♥️ and then cashes the K♥️.

Here are the North/South hands at trick 5:

Which finesse are you starting with–♠️s or ♦️s?

Solution–
Do NOT finesse the ♠️s. It cannot help you. It is an unnecessary risk.
Finesse the ♦️s. Whether the ♦️ finesse wins or loses you can discard a ♠️ on the third round of ♦️s. You should lose only K♣️, Q♥️, and maybe K♦️. You should not lose a ♠️ if you finesse ♦️s.

Notice that it would be a mistake to play a third round of trumps before finessing the ♦️s. West would win the Q♥️ and then force with another ♠️ lead, setting up the Q♠️ for the defense.
