Here was the original problem:
Deal seven — 1NT or 2NT or 3NT South
Solution–
It appears that Declarer has Qxx or Qxxx in ♥️s. Our best chance is to play 10♥️ on partner’s 9♥️. If Declarer holds ♥️ Q x x he/she will have to take this trick and Partner will still have another ♥️. When/if partner gets in we will run the ♥️s. If Declarer started with ♥️ Q x x x then we will not run the ♥️s. But Declarer is likely to duck the 10 ♥️ giving us three ♥️ tricks.
